People credited with this unit standard are able to operate and monitor plant performance, and manage plant breakdowns. Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Operate and monitor plant performance. Evidence requirements 1.1 Process requirements and information are interpreted to enable continuity of operation to achieve the production schedule. Range process requirements and information include but are not limited to – adjustments, fault investigation, and remediation. 1.2 Plant monitoring is carried out in accordance with company documentation, and enables repair and maintenance requirements to be communicated. 1.3 Process additions and measurements are made in accordance with company documentation. Evidence requirements 2.1 Communication of breakdown information enables the production schedule, and plant availability requirements to be achieved in accordance with company documentation. 2.2 The organisation of any remedial action enables plant utilisation requirements to be achieved. remedial action includes but is not limited to – clean, replace, repair.
