2.2
Microscope is set up to prevent damage to microscope and specimen in
accordance with laboratory procedures.
2.3
Components and focus are adjusted for optimum resolution and magnification
of specimen.
2.4
Microscope is maintained in a manner that will prevent damage in accordance
with manufacturer’s instructions.

Specimen is orientated using stage controls to allow measurements to be taken.
