Performance criteria 1.1 Ambulance vehicle stocks of medical supplies are maintained in accordance with NZS 8156 and candidate’s delegated scope of practice. 1.2 All medical supplies are maintained within the expiry dates shown on the supplies. 1.3 All medical supplies are stored so that they are not compromised in terms of contamination. 1.4 Drugs are secured in accordance with NZS 8156. Range 1.5 narcotic drugs, non-narcotic drugs. Medical supplies documentation is completed and in accordance with NZS 8156. Please note Providers must be accredited by NZQA, or an inter-institutional body with delegated authority for quality assurance, before they can report credits from assessment against unit standards or deliver courses of study leading to that assessment. Industry Training Organisations must be accredited by NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards. Accredited providers and Industry Training Organisations assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
