People credited with this unit standard are able to: set up meat product specification details; download product information to terminal scales and semi-automatic labelling machinery; demonstrate team-work; and comply with organisational and statutory hygiene and safety requirements. Evidence requirements 1.1 Product order numbers are set up in the computer system in accordance with company and customer specifications. Range product order numbers may include but are not limited to – order number, item standpack number. 1.2 Orders are setup for a certain weight or a set number of cartons in accordance with organisational requirements. 1.3 Product details are checked for compliance, in accordance with organisational requirements and customer specifications. Range 1.4 product details include but are not limited to – weight range, product description, grade, slaughter date, production date, expiry date. Programming faults are identified and corrective action taken in accordance with organisational requirements.
