This unit standard involves both written and spoken Vagahau Niue; Spoken presentation could mean describing an activity, explaining how to do something, relating an experience, talking of future goals and plans; Audience refers to three or more persons; Familiar refers to topics and settings that are within the learner’s personal experience. 2 Evidence is required from one presentation of a minimum length of two minutes. The presentation may involve the use of notes and/or visual aids used as prompts. 3 Language used must in Vagahau Niue and may be spoken with village-based dialectal differences and intonation. 4 Endorsement of village language variation may be conducted by pulotu, village or community appointed experts. 5 Achievement of the evidence requirements allows for hesitation, or minor errors in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and intonation.
