i. Primary Health Care Nurse Practitioner (M.S.N.) revision proposal: GCT CHPSW committee
member, Abbe Finn, answered questions regarding Nursing proposals. Approved.
ii. BSN to DNP (D.N.P.) revision proposal: Correction to the minimum number of credit hours listed in
the Additional Graduation Requirements section of the Catalog Copy; it should have read 81.
Approved.
iii. MSN to DNP (D.N.P.) revision proposal: Approved.
iv. Nurse Educator (M.S.N.) revision proposal: Approved.
v. Nurse Educator Certificate revision proposal: Approved.
b. College of Arts and Sciences:
i. Public Administration (M.P.A.) revision proposal: Margaret Banyan presented the program
proposal revision to the committee. Approved.
ii. Mathematics (M.S.) revision proposal: Daniel Kern representative presented the revision to the
committee. Approved.
iii. English (M.A.) revision proposal: Fiona Tolhurst gave an overview of the program proposal and
responded to committee questions. Approved.
iv. Environmental Studies (M.A.) revision proposal: Mike Savarese presented the proposal and
answered questions from the committee. Currently there is not a Thesis option, it may come
forward at a later date. The committee stated that criteria for internships should be noted in the
program handbook (related bullet points should be in the catalog). Approved.
c. Miscellaneous:
i. Next GCT meeting is scheduled on February 23rd.
