New Business:
a. College of Health Professions and Social Work:
i. Transition to Clinical Mental Health Counseling new certificate proposal: Madelyn Isaacs gave a
presentation on the new certificate. The committee asked that the college clarify the admissions
requirements. Proposal Approved.
ii. Health Science M.S. revision proposal: Julie Zemplinski presented the changes to the committee,
proposal approved.
iii. Clinical Laboratory Science Certificate revision proposal: Julie Zemplinski presented this proposal
to the committee. College will work with Academic and Curriculum Support to clarify the
minimum grade. Proposal Approved.
b. College of Education: Robert Kenny presented the following revision proposals.
i. Curriculum & Instruction-Educational Technology M.A. revision proposal: Committee reviewed the
proposal and made recommendations. The year will be corrected on the catalog copy, program
revision is approved.
i. Educational Technology Certificate revision proposal: Discussion held on the admissions
requirements, Academic and Curriculum Support will work with Graduate Studies and the
Graduate Affairs Team to review the TOEFL score statement for all programs. Proposal approved
pending the approval of updated TOEFL scores and adding the credit hours to courses on catalog
copy.
ii. Educational Media and Learning Certificate revision proposal: Discussion was held on the
proposed changes and approved.
iii. Curriculum & Instruction MEd revision proposal: Revision approved.
iv. Disability Services new certificate proposal: The new certificate proposal was discussed by the
committee, TOEFL score will be reviewed for changes. Proposal approved.
c. Miscellaneous:
i. An additional meeting will be held on February 23rd.
