The overall grade point average for all fraternity men moderately increased over the prior year and still falls below the overall grade point average for all men on campus. The 2009-2010 total number of programs also represents an increase of 106 events, or 65%, since we started tracking the number of events in 2006-2007. 3. PROGRAM IMPROVEMENTS List planned or actual changes (if any) to curriculum, teaching methods, facilities, or services that are in response to the assessment findings: Involvement in fraternities and sororities showed a significant decrease in involvement, while the national trend continued to show decreased involvement. Initiatives are in place to show an overall increase in involvement for 2010-2011. Target efforts will be made with the men’s groups and NPHC organizations in developing recruitment and academic plans. We will continue to provide advising and support to increase student programs offered. 4. ASSESSMENT PLAN COMPLIANCE Explain deviations from the plan (if any). Discontinued annual survey of students participating in Take Flight Leadership Conference. 5. NEW ASSESSMENT DEVELOPMENTS Describe developments (if any) regarding assessment measures, communication, faculty or staff involvement, benchmarking, or other assessment variables. Referrals by and use of the new Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Questioning and Ally Resource Room will be tracked for 2010-2011.
