Board Policy 3.10
Policy 3.10 District Job Announcements
All individuals who have been approved by the Board of Trustees as either probationary or
permanent employees of the Peralta Community College District shall be eligible to apply for jobs
limited to Peralta Community College District staff members. This definition includes individuals
who are certificated or classified, and either full-time or part-time employees.
Also to be included are those temporary certificated individuals who have taught for three of the last
six semesters or five of the last nine quarters. Those temporary classified individuals who are
working at the time of the job announcement and who have worked for 120 consecutive days are
also to be considered internal candidates.
