Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Plan manufacturing tasks. Evidence requirements 1.1 Task is determined by reviewing documentation and enterprise procedures. 1.2 Procedure for manufacturing tooling is determined in accordance with enterprise procedures. 1.3 Resources are obtained and checked for serviceability or status in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 1.4 publications, materials, tools, equipment, safety equipment. Tooling manufacturing sketches are produced, to meet specifications. Outcome 2 Manufacture or repair composite tooling. Range 2.2 marking out, wastage minimised. Tooling is manufactured or repaired to meet specifications. Range cut, formed, joined, inspected, finished. 2.3 Manufacturing defects are rectified in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.4 Tooling is prepared for use in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 2.5 shape checked against drawing and master, release agent applied. Tooling is prepared for storage or transit in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range release agent removed, documentation completed, packed, despatched. 2.6 Inspections are obtained in accordance with enterprise procedures. 2.7 Documentation is completed in accordance with enterprise procedures. Outcome 3 Carry out task completion activities. Evidence requirements 3.1 Completion activities specific to the task and work area are carried out in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 3.2 Resources are checked for serviceability and returned to service or storage in accordance with enterprise procedures. Range 3.3 activities may include but are not limited to – tool control, cleanliness, tidiness, return of publications, preparation of next activity, return of aircraft and systems to normal. tools, equipment, safety equipment, enterprise procedures. Leftover items, parts, and materials are disposed of in accordance with enterprise procedures.
