College Technology Resource Requests
In the fall semester, each of the four colleges formulated resource requests to include—faculty
positions, classified positions, technology needs, and other instructional equipment needs. All
requests were forwarded to the appropriate district planning and budgeting model committees.
At this time, the Planning and Budgeting Committee is forwarding for your review the technology
requests which were reviewed and endorsed by the District Technology Committee.
In your review of the attached document, you will note that in some instances the colleges have
been able to identify a source of funding (i.e., Measure A) and in some instances the colleges have
no identified source for funding.
We thank the District Technology Committee for their work. We will continue this process in fall
2011 and even hope to improve the process based on this year’s work.
