Request for Measure A and E Project Balances
At the December 13, 2013 meeting of the Planning and Budgeting Council one of the agenda items
addressed the topic of Measure A and E Project Balances.
It was noted that since the main purpose of the Planning and Budgeting Council is planning and
budget integration, and since there are significant resources devoted to Measure A and E Bond
funds that affect both planning and budgeting, the Planning and Budgeting Council determined that
it was appropriate to seek information about the status of the projects being funded by these Bond
measures. In so doing, the PBC passed the following motion:
“The Planning and Budgeting Council requests a report from the Department of General Services
on all budget allocations, expenditures, status, and remaining balances for projects associated with
Measure A and Measure E Bond funds by February 28, 2014. This status report shall include what
percent of each project has been completed and if completed will include the completion date.”
The Planning and Budgeting Council looks forward to hearing from you at the February 28, 2014
Council meeting. If there are materials which can be distributed ahead of time, that would be
appreciated.
