It supplements the Toi Whakairo and Mana Whakairo unit standards. People credited with this unit standard are able to locate, organise access to, procure, and store Maori art materials. Evidence requirements 2.1 Organisations and/or people are contacted to ensure access. Range may include but is not limited to – Iwi authority, Rūnanga, Regional Council, Department of Conservation, private owners. Outcome 3 Procure Māori art materials. Evidence requirements 3.1 Means of recovery are organised to ensure collection and delivery eventuate. Range 3.2 Means of recovery are organised to ensure quality of goods is maintained. Range 3.3 may include but is not limited to – private transport, public transport, postal delivery. weather, handling, cost. Means of harvesting are organised to ensure resources are not wasted. Range season, place. Outcome 4 Store Māori art materials. Evidence requirements 4.1 Material condition is considered to establish storage requirements. Range 4.2 size, quality,quantity. Storage means are organised to meet stockpile requirements. Range cost, location, facility.
