Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Describe the implications of the Residential Tenancies Act 1986 for service tenancy rentals. Evidence requirements 1.1 Employer obligations for receiving rent and imposing rent increases, and requests for bond payment are described in accordance with the Act. 1.2 Employer responsibilities regarding the rental premises and courses of action available to employees for breaches of these responsibilities are described in accordance with the Act. Range 1.3 Optional terms included in a rental agreement are described in terms of the implications for employees. Range 1.4 includes but is not limited to - condition of premises, health and safety standards, tenant's goods, rights of entry, notice to terminate, rates and insurance, sale of premises. includes but is not limited to - pets, smoking, visitors. Tenants’ responsibilities regarding the rental premises are described in accordance with the Act. Service tenancy rentals are described in terms of the rental conditions allowable under the Act.
