Evidence requirements 4.1 Explanation describes the concept of whāngai as distinct from adoption and how it may be used to provide support in an unplanned pregnancy. 4.2 Explanation describes the concept of atawhai as distinct from whāngai and adoption and how it may be used to provide temporary support for an unplanned pregnancy.
