This unit standard is designed for people who work in
manufacturing industries and are required to perform
calculations for manufacturing production processes such as
calculating product details, output rates, rejection rates, and
progress towards production targets.

Safety in Employment Act 1992 and any subsequent amendments.

– All work practices must meet recognised codes of practice and documented
worksite safety procedures (where these exceed the codes) for personal, product,
and worksite safety), and must also meet the obligations required under current
legislation.
– Calculators and/or conversion tables may be used to assist in calculations.
