1.1
The requirements and purpose of floor framing and flooring components are
described in terms of NZS 3604:1999 or specific design.
1.2
Methods of calculating quantities of floor framing and flooring components are
described, and accurate sample calculations performed in accordance with
industry practice.
Element 2
Describe the requirements for setting out and installing floor framing and flooring.
Performance criteria
2.1
The methods of setting out floor framing and flooring are described in
accordance with NZS 3604:1999 or specific design.
2.2
The methods of installing and fixing sub floor framing and flooring are described
in accordance with NZS 3604:1999 or specific design.
2.3
Procedures for maintaining health and safety requirements when installing floor
framing and flooring are described.
