Outcomes and evidence requirements Outcome 1 Establish criteria for participation in a specified sporting competition. Evidence requirements 1.1 Eligibility is determined according to the rules and laws of the sport. 1.2 Selection and entry criteria are established and followed according to the national sporting body's guidelines. Outcome 2 Plan and implement the format for a specified sporting competition. Range competition formats include – knockout, seedings, round robin, handicapping, round to round progressions, semifinals to finals, points. 2.2 A competition format is selected that meets the objectives of the competition and the requirements of the national sporting body. 2.3 A draw is prepared and distributed to all individuals. Range 2.4 A process for modifying the draw is established and distributed to all individuals. Range 2.5 all individuals may include competitors, coaches, officials, media, organising body. The draw is modified and amendments are documented and distributed to all individuals. Range 2.6 all individuals may include – competitors, coaches, officials, media, organising body. modifications may be made for late withdrawals and entries, cancellations, postponements, venue changes; all individuals may include competitors, coaches, officials, media, organising body. The modified draw is implemented as documented. Outcome 3 Record and process the results of a specified sporting competition. Evidence requirements 3.1 Result notifications are interpreted and the results are documented as directed by the organising body. 3.2 Decisions received about disqualifications and penalties are recorded and communicated to participants affected by the decisions, according to the requirements of the national sport organisation. 3.3 Results are processed as directed by the organising body. 3.4 Results are communicated to all individuals within the timeframe specified by the organising body.
