It will provide New Zealand with educators and trainers who have a leadership and/or specialist role in quality assurance processes to support the training and development of adults in a biand multi-cultural environment and to improve educational and training outcomes for New Zealanders. This qualification is for practitioners who design and use a range of innovative and complex assessment methods for different learning contexts. This qualification is designed for current teachers/practitioners in adult and tertiary education or training. This qualification will provide New Zealand with assessors who will have a leadership and/or specialist role in applying the principles and practices involved in the assessment process to professional standards. New Zealand’s business environment will benefit by having skilled graduates who improve the qualifications structure and capabilities of the workforce, to improve productivity. This qualification is for practitioners in adult and tertiary education. It will provide New Zealand with educators and trainers who can design learning experiences and associated resources to meet specified requirements, and who are or can be employed in education and training. Graduates of this qualification will embed best practice in learning design to ensure the quality of the learning process and to improve educational and training outcomes for New Zealanders. They will coach/mentor colleagues in learning design, and will apply learning design principles and practice in the development of quality learning experiences for a wide variety of end-user environments. This qualification is for practitioners in adult and tertiary education. It will provide New Zealand with educators and trainers who can apply innovative technologies in their practice, to enable quality learning. Graduates of this qualification will facilitate quality learning experiences for New Zealanders, using a range of appropriate technologies, and will coach/mentor colleagues, to improve educational and training outcomes for New Zealanders. This qualification is for practitioners who have an interest in Pasifika learning models, frameworks or contexts in which they wish to enhance their teaching or engagement with Pasifika Peoples. These practitioners are or aspire to be leaders within their own teaching contexts and/or areas of expertise and wish to improve and/or broaden their teaching practice in specifically Pasifika contexts. Graduates will enhance the achievements of Pasifika learners and communities by including in their practice specialist strategies reflective of and relevant to Pasifika contexts and values. As a result, Pasifika learners will be enabled and encouraged to participate and contribute more effectively to their social, learning, industries/workplaces, and communities.
