every month. The Functional Fitness classes are personal training sessions that will focus on how to work out a
specific body part properly and safely. These classes are replacing Introduction to the Strength and

For student organizations, you can go into EMS, create an account, and start requesting space in the gym.
The Office Coordinator has two office assistants and is looking to hire one more. The goal for this semester is to
increase outreach to students. This includes increase in traffic on the Campus Recreation Facebook page. There
should also be a Department video made by the spring semester.
Committee Selection and Updates
The Programming and Assessment committee is in charge of assessing our departments programming
throughout the semester through the means of surveys. There will be one made for the Campus Recreation
Department as a whole. This subcommittee is looking for new volunteers. Shibin and Anne showed interest in
volunteering for this committee.
The Administration committee has been offline for a while but will be in charge reviewing applications for the
Paula Moran Scholarship. Anne showed interest in this committee.
The Recreation and Wellness Center committee works with the Associated Student Body and The Caesar
Chavez Student Center. They have been meeting with architects to put the design together for the new center.
Brandon Wolucka gave an update on the last meeting. They focused on having more room for outdoor fields in
the design, what program components will look like, and how all these parts will fit on the site. Ryan Fetzer,
Tina Rossi, and Brandon Wolucka made a trip to Cal Poly SLO’s Recreation Center. They will also be checking
out Sacramento and Chico state’s Recreation and Wellness Centers. We want to make our Recreation and
