The Motor Industry Training Organisation (Incorporated) (MITO) has reinstated the unit
standards listed above. The standards are expiring and have been assigned a new expiry
date.
Date new versions published
April 2010
New expiry date
December 2014
Summary
The reinstatement and change to the expiry date has been in response to concerns from
stakeholders that the original expiry dates were not going to allow sufficient time for
candidates to complete the requirements for the standards or subsequently the
qualifications these standards form a part of. The change was made to ensure that
candidates are able to complete qualifications they are enrolled in. MITO intends to
extend the last date for assessments to take place for relevant qualifications to December
2014 so the dates are in keeping with the expiry date for the standards.
