A key factor in this context is the Steiner/Waldorf curriculum for Year 13 which meets the requirements of the New Zealand Curriculum. Outcome Statement Graduate profile Graduates of this qualification will be able to: - be independent life-long learners who are able to self-reflect and take initiative when required - apply well-developed moral, ethical and personal standards to a range of life situations - apply comprehensive knowledge, skills and understandings from a defined range of compulsory core disciplines in a wide range of educational contexts - apply comprehensive knowledge, skills and understandings from a range of self-chosen elective subjects across a broad range of educational contexts - Apply public presentation and display skills in a wide range of contexts - research and analyse new and/or abstract data and situations with minimal guidance, using a range of techniques appropriate to a subject area. Education pathway Graduates of this qualification with a University Entrance (UE) endorsement will be eligible to apply for entry into any University or Polytechnic in New Zealand. Graduates without UE will be eligible for further training courses at the appropriate level. The certificate will display the logos of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework (NZQF) and the SEDT. Evidence requirements for assuring consistency Evidence may include the following: Programme statistics including retention, qualification completion, graduate progression data, and learner feedback. Evidence from internal and external moderation processes that graduates meet the graduate profile outcomes. Graduate and/or stakeholder/end-user feedback on outcome achievement. Minimum standard of achievement and standards for grade endorsements Achieved. Other requirements for the qualification (including regulatory body or legislative requirements) To enrol in this qualification a student must have gained the New Zealand Certificate of Steiner Education (Level 2) [Ref: 2938] or equivalent. General conditions for the programme leading to the qualification General conditions for programme Programmes will be developed out of a Waldorf pedagogical understanding within acceptable guidelines. Programmes must explicitly build skills in literacy, numeracy, digital literacy and learning. Graduate profile outcomes should be integrated within and across the programme and not taught as individual components. Assessments must use relevant Learning Outcomes (LO) from the approved programme documents supplied to accredited providers.
