Graduates will be able to work safely, under limited supervision of a mechanic, to industry standards and provide the community with confidence in the bicycle sales, service and repair sector. This qualification may lead into further study towards retail or tourism qualifications. Employment and/or community pathway Graduates of this qualification will have the skills and knowledge to work in roles such as bicycle service technicians in workshop or rental contexts, and bicycle assembly in retail outlets. Qualification specifications Qualification award This qualification will be awarded by the education organisation with which the learner is enrolled, provided that organisation is accredited under Section 250 of the Education Act 1989 with an approved programme towards this qualification.
