Highlights
Sarah reviewed START membership terms with the
committee. START membership is a two year term.
Members, Tim Bair, Kem Gravenberg, Theo Povondra and
Tom Custer were told their START membership terms are
up at the end of this summer. Sarah asked them to notify
their supervisors if they were interested in continuing on
for another term. Sarah will follow up with the family
heads to request recommendations.
Summer Schedule
Annette will coordinate with Ken DeVane from CO to
schedule a workshop on how to read survey reports and
use the results to develop an action plan. The workshop
will be offered in late summer/early fall. Committee
members are welcome to attend. Sarah indicated that the
Process Mapping workshop will take place at the same
time, probably the second day. Sarah notified the
committee that the VP suspends all meetings for the
summer and asked members if START should do the same.
The committee agreed all START meetings would be
suspended until September 2009.
ABA Thank-you site
START commented on the Thank-You blog. Gina Curry
asked about the timeliness of the updates. Annette
indicated that an e-mail is sent to her every time a thankyou is submitted. Committee members asked if only ABA
staff could submit a thank-you. The committee was
informed that any person with a Sac Link ID on campus
could submit a thank-you, but that only ABA staff knew of
the blog. It was agreed that START should announce the
blog in the Monday Briefing to allow other staff outside
ABA , the opportunity to acknowledge ABA Staff for their
services. Gina Curry will contact Public Affairs.
