ADDITIONAL POLICIES
MATH 2414
FALL ‘08
1. Text is Stewart, Calculus (6th Edition), available at bookstore.
2. Course average is determined by .4(Test Average)+.15(Daily
Average)+.2(Homework Average)+.25(Final Exam).
3. There will be three course exams, in addition to the final exam. Course exams are
on Thursdays. The lowest test grade will be dropped. No makeup or retake tests,
and no early finals. Final exam is Monday December 8.
4. Any calculator may be used, but calculator-passing during exams is prohibited.
On exams, instructor reserves the right to deduct points for missing steps, even if
the final answer is correct.
5. Daily work includes class problems and all extra-credit work. A student may earn
extra-credit points for tutoring a lower-level student in math. Please provide a
letter from the student or parent.
6. Homework is graded at 5 points per section completed. Additional credit may be
given for additional problems.
