Performance clearly falls short of expected standards. Performance is either
inappropriate and/or incompetent. The employee has demonstrated inability or
unwillingness to improve or meet those standards.

mentoring and/or proctoring to meet standards.

Satisfactory
Meets basic requirements and expectations of the position. The employee
performs all elements in a satisfactory, competent manner.

standards.

Highest quality performance which typically exceeds the expected standards.

To be eligible for a PBSI, unless otherwise negotiated, the employee’s total
score must average above 4.5. If any category is rated below 3.0, the
employee is not eligible for a PBSI regardless of the total score.
