GEND2001 Introduction to Gender Studies

An introduction to Gender Studies with an emphasis on interdisciplinary perspectives.
Examines basic concepts, approaches, and methods pertinent to understanding gender
relations and divisions in a global and historical context. NOTE: Normally students take
this course after successful completion of 10 term-courses (30 ch). Students who take
GEND 2001 may not receive credit for , SOCI 2501 .
GEND4001 Directed Studies
3 ch
Supervised study in some area of Gender Studies to be determined by the student and
instructor in consultation with the Gender Studies Coordinator.
Prerequisites: GEND 2001 and 9 additional ch of Gender Studies eligible courses.
