consistency in online course offerings at CNM,
a process will begin this fall for QM Internal
Peer Reviews of distance learning classes.
You are invited to attend the grand opening
celebration of Robert P. Matteucci Hall on
Friday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Remarks will begin at 11:30 a.m. Guests will
receive a tour of the building’s state-of-the-art
cooking and baking laboratories and the new
bookstore.
On Saturday, Oct. 19, CNM psychology
faculty members will host the Mountain States
Teaching of Psychology Conference that will
be held at the Montoya Campus from 8:30 a.m.

To be consistent across the Schools, the
decision to create a template for FT and PT
postings has been proposed. Deans Council
and Associate Deans are working on
developing the template with HR.
The Governing Board has approved a project
to renovate KC space to accommodate FT and
PT faculty. The space vacated by Adult
Education will be remodeled.
Beginning in Spring 2014, students will no
longer be able to enroll after the course has
begun.
OSHA has revised their Hazard
Communication standards. Hazard
Communication training is federally mandated
and all employees hired prior to January 1,
2013 are required to complete the revised
training. Employees who completed Hazard
Communication after January 1st were trained
on the new standards. The deadline for
completion is Dec. 1st, 2013.
