The Purchase Order has been issued for the clocks and we expect for them to arrive this Wednesday March 4th. We plan to install all the Controllers/Transmitters by the end of this month and we will install all the clocks during the term break in May. CNM has been accepted into the Competency-Based Education Network (C-BEN), a national organization, supported by Lumina Foundation and managed by Public Agenda. Along with 14 new members, CNM will participate in the research and development of competency-based education models. The C-BEN Steering Committee was impressed by the strength of CNM’s application, and they believe that CNM will be an important member of this community, which is going to work together to address common challenges in designing and developing competency-based degree programs and related business models. Families, educators, child-care centers and home childcare providers now have a new resource for teaching young children through educational play. Read more. The CNM Libraries are inviting submissions for the fifth annual Authors Event at the Jeannette Stromberg Library in the Student Resource Center. Submissions are open to CNM faculty and staff members who have published during the last five years. CNM Libraries will generate a bibliography of all included submissions and host a reception in honor of participants. Publications eligible for submission include but are not limited to: monographs, journal and magazine articles, book chapters, essays, poetry, newspaper editorials, published photographs, fine art works, musical compositions, video productions, conference posters, conference presentations, and architectural projects. STEMWEEK will be dedicated to celebrating the science, technology, engineering and math fields that abound at CNM. The week will culminate with SUPERPi day on Saturday, March 14. Read more. Due to a major construction project that will commence May 8, the entrance at Basehart Rd. to Max Salazar Hall and the Student Services Center parking lots will be closed throughout the summer. The only vehicle entrance to the area will be on the south side of SSC. In addition, during the summer, the parking lot closest to MS will be closed.
