For Graduation: _______ a total of 120 credit hours _______ A grade of “C” in all CSDS courses To satisfy major requirements for graduation, students majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders must earn a grade of no less than “C” in all CSDS courses. Students who are applying to graduate school should understand that most graduate programs in CSD expect even stronger performance than what is required for graduation, and so students should set as their goals achieving at least a “B” in CSDS courses and a minimum GPA of 3.0. These goals are not required for graduation from Longwood University. At the graduate level, students should be prepared to repeat any CSDS course in which a grade of C+ or lower was earned. To build a more favorable transcript (and GPA), an undergraduate student may also consider re-taking a CSDS course having a grade of C. If you have additional questions about graduate school expectations, please see your advisor. Updated 10/2009
