SYNOPSIS FORMAT
Synopsis, preferably, should be of about 3-5 pages. The content should be brief and enable to
explain the objective and implementation of the project that the candidate is going to take up.
The write up must adhere to the guidelines and should include the following1. Front Page/Title page
2. Problem Statement
3. Why is the particular topic chosen?
4. Objectives and Scope.
5. Methodology
6. Process Description including DFD’s (Level 0/ Level 1) and ER diagram
7. Hardware & Software to be used – Server, Clients, Back End Tools, Software
platform programming language etc.
8. Functional and non-functional requirement
9. Testing technologies and Security Mechanisms
10. What contribution would the Project make?
11. Limitations
12. Conclusion with time frame required for various stages of project implementation
13. Reference and bibliography

 Content- Times New roman 12 size Line spacing 1.5
 Figure number and name must be under every figure
 Table name and number must be above table
