I chose the poem The Farm (pg. 21-23). I chose it because it talks about fishing
and just being free in the outdoors. I enjoy fishing and hunting. It talks so vivid about
the old farm barn that I can almost see it. I like it because I can relate to it in a way. I
also like the outdoors very much. I also chose it because I can understand it and I have
done some of these things so I can relate to it a lot.
It also talks about my favorite sport baseball. He said the boys were talking
about baseball players averages. The boys were talking mostly about the truly great
baseball players who were dead. I find myself talking about players averages and sports
all the time. So I can relate to them.
