Providing lunch b. Vice President i. Received information from the president of faculty senate in regards to allsenate-get-together 1. Would like to know about syllabus. Standardized format be appreciated or not? a. Appreciate some of the contents to be standardized i. Abilities projects, exam times, some are difficult to follow ii. Bring up course outline possibility. We appreciate it! 2. Collection/donation supplies drive for Minot State University c. Treasurer i. NO REPORT d. Secretary i. Campus Inter-Functionary Team 1. Discussed the hiring of a groundskeeper, a new Vice President of Business Affairs 2. Currently in the process of hiring a key plant operator 3. In the process of revising the academic integrity policy and the faculity policy as well. 4. Midterm grades are due this Tuesday. a. Student and advisor will be able to view the grades. 5. Science building work will start after graduation a. Once classes resume, there will be classroom and office shifts 6. Spring schedule has been finalized! e. NDSA i. NDSU this Friday ii. Football team beat Dickinson State on Saturday by a score of 23-13. They head over to Jamestown this coming Saturday for another match up. They move up in the national rankings to 16th. ii. The Volleyball team lost both matches on the weekend to SD School of Mines and Black Hills State. They will host Dickinson this coming Wednesday at 7 pm at Graichen Gym. iii. The Men’s and Women’s Cross Country team competed at the Jimmie open, Jesse Dorado finished in 2nd place with a time of 26:58, while Richard Wright placed 8th. The women ran at the Hastings open, top runner was Anna Fuka with time of 20:15. Fine Arts i. NO REPORT Communication and Social Sciences i. Psychology Club is having Dr. Erin Klingenberg as a speaker this Wednesday at 8:30 pm in the lower conference room of the student center. 1. She will be covering what it is like to be a campus psychologist and to give an idea of what is one of the things to do with psychology as a profession after college. ii. The Theater department’s performance of the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” will be performed on October 27th through October 29th at 7:30pm as well as a 2pm matinee on the 29th. 1. Please come and support the theater department. It will be amazing! Business and Information Technologies i. Mr. Deger will be hosting meetings for Society of Human Resource Management at the beginning of November. ii. Business Process Integration Management (BPIM) 1. Totally online degree a. Concentrates on Wyoming Community Colleges iii. Next week there will be a new issue of the Newsletter which is sent out to about 2000 alums iv.
