Rationale
Trig equations can be found everywhere. There are hundreds of examples of trigonometry in real life.
Instructions





Brainstorm ideas for real-life trig equations (develop 3 during class today)
Take photographs of your 3 samples (stage the situation of necessary)
Determine your favorite/most effective demonstration of the trig function
Edit this photograph such that the trig function (sine or cosine) is clearly superimposed
Print out your color photograph and type a paragraph that explains what is in your photograph and why it
models a sine or cosine function. Include the actual function (with any shifts or amplitude changes, if necessary).
Deadlines
This project is due on January 23rd or 24th. You will be graded on the above expectations and your effective completion
of the project. Please be creative and original in your artwork; there will be a photo contest!
