Tomas Rivera
-Fill in “Inferences and Observations” chart as we read the
following parts of the book:
“The Lost Year", Vignette #1, and “The Children Couldn’t
Wait”
***Differentiation for Prep: When discussing the tone
words reference guide for analyzing the tone of “The Lost
Year”, I will give them 3 tone words to choose from rather
than have them choose one out of the entire list as Pre-AP
will be doing.

Assessment Methods: The inference and observation chart
will help students compose short answer responses this
week.
