Objective: I will be able to plan a linear plot to more effectively write an original piece of fiction.

3. Conflict – identify the desires of our characters

Wednesday 9/24-9/25
Objective: I will be able to create complex and believable characters through dialogue.

Friday 9/26
Objective: I will be able to effectively revise and edit my own original piece of writing.
1. Grammar/Punctuation Do First
2. Pairs – read your partner’s short story. Use the rubric to grade the paper, and use revising and
editing proofreading marks to make corrections.
3. Use rubric and suggested proofreading marks to adjust your paper.
4. Begin work on Final Draft.
