Introduce Community Based Lesson instructions and assignment for

Objective: To solidify understanding of measurement, distances, conversions,
and dimensional analysis in application to our immediate community.

and guidance. BOARD WORK / COMPETITION—Individuals will form teams of
students and for 20 minutes they will peer tutor their teams before the board
activities begin.

Follow Up/HW: Study for Quiz on Sig figs, DA, Trig functions, Algebra, and
science
Objective: The student will complete the Physics Chapter 1 Math Review Quiz
Activities: Take quiz.
Upon completion of quiz the student will read the article and write a 1 page
response.

Objective: To certify each student in math before we move on to science
Activities: Each individual student will come to board and demonstrate mastery of
all important trig/algebra functions and receive their certification card.
