Immediately upon entering the classroom, students will begin reading the synthesis
sources and writing their essay

Checks for Understanding: Completed essay
Materials: Paper, pen, synthesis sources

Tuesday 3/10: Ch. 16, 18, 20, 22 are due with Study Set 3; DYRT quiz; Intercalary
presentations 15, 17, 19, 21 (major)
Monday 3/23: AP style multiple choice (1/2 minor)
Tuesday 3/24: Ch. 24, 26, 28, 30 due with Study Set 4; DYRT quiz
Wed/Thurs 3/25-26: Grapes group project due (major)
Friday 3/27: Intercalary presentations 23, 25, 27, 29 (major); 2 Gauntlet edited
synthesis essays and typed, revised synthesis essay due (major)

as a whole.

purposes.

Students will then decide which synthesis essay they want to edit and revise for a
major grade.
