3. Hand out and explain “Archetypes Scavenger Hunt” to
accompany watching “Hercules”
4. Watch the first 30 minutes of “Hercules”; students will
fill out their Archetypes Scavenger Hunt as they watch

Assessment Methods: The scavenger hunt will be turned
in for a grade after viewing of the movie is complete.
Checks for Understanding: We will review archetypes
before beginning the movie viewing.

Today’s scaffold allows students to prepare for that.

sheet with students to make sure they understand the task presented
to them.
