Target: Essential Question Monday 9/22/2014 What are typical school activities; school rules, and classroom objects in the foreign culture? How are they similar or different from those in America? Objective Teacher/student 1. I can learn new vocabulary related to classes, supplies, and objects found in school. 2. I can listen to and understand vocabulary about school-related activities and classroom rules. 3. I can show the Spanish grammar structure by talking & writing in the target language through oral & written activities. Warm-up: Matching vocabulary 1A. Opening: Teacher will go over previous oral vocabulary quiz. Guided Practice: 1. Teacher will go over pronunciation/definitions from vocabulary 1A. 2. Presentation PPTvocabulary 1B 3. Students will orally repeat the new vocabulary words while teacher go over it. Independent Practice: Students will create vocabulary flash cards & will teach each other the new vocabulary. Teacher will go around asking students for pronunciation and meaning. If time, students will take oral quiz. Assessment/Closing: Exit ticket.
