GREAT NEWS FOR THE 2014-2015 school-years!
Sidney Lanier’s Math Department has created a consistent Math Supply List for all grade levels and
clusters/houses. This supply list includes all of the basics necessary for each grade level. Additional
materials may be required specific to the course curriculum to be determined by the teacher of the
course.
The purpose to have a consistent supply list across all grade levels and clusters/houses, is quite simple,
it creates a consistency in all classes with formatting standards, and necessary supplies. This is also
our opportunity to develop a standard that will prepare the student through all grade levels at Sidney
Lanier, High School and University. This also eliminates the confusion when a student has a schedule
change, due to unforeseen circumstances, their Math materials remains the same.
We encourage you to pre-pay for the supply list. This can be done now. Please write a check in the
amount of $10.00 made payable to: Lanier PTO, complete the form below and return to your student’s
current Math teacher. In the memo write your child’s entering grade level, legal name and math
supplies. We will not be accepting cash payments this is unfortunately not an option. Your check will
also serve as a receipt and a tracking document for the student.
Your child will receive their math supplies from their math teacher when school begins again in the
fall.
