How do I modify my reports to format correctly in Discoverer Plus? To view your workbook in Discoverer Plus, you must first open it in Discoverer Desktop from your local PC or shared directory and save it to the database (FILE, SAVE AS, Database, SAVE, SAVE. ) This will add the report to the database with your user id as the owner. Note, only you will be able to see your reports unless you share them. Then Logon to Discoverer Plus and open your report. Immediately save the report, File, Save. Note, this could take a few minutes, but it is important to avoid run time errors as you are modifying your report. M File Save Most of the time, the only modifications needed can be done in Page Setup. FILE, PAGE SETUP On the ‘Worksheet’ tab, ‘Title’ section, click “Print on Every Page.” Note: You can also set the paper size to “Legal” while on this tab, if you so desire. Switch to the ‘Table’ tab, in the ‘Table Scaling’ section, Click, “Fit to:”, then enter “9999” into “Pages Tall”. Switch to the “Headers/Footer” tab, highlight and delete “‘of Page Numbers” as this feature is not supported in Discoverer Plus. Click OK Click the “Print Preview” icon test print a couple of pages and see if everything looks ok. If not, you may need to adjust some column widths by dragging the column edge in/our, or font sizing by right clicking on a column then clicking of format data and/or format heading to change the font size to achieve the desired result.
