Exercise 16-D: Plan and Have Meeting Working in groups of four to six, you will be given a topic and a block of time in which to plan and have a meeting. Co nsider the meeting’s topic and: 1. Prepare an agenda. Be sure to include: Issues to be discussed. The amount of time allocated to each issue. Role assignment (e.g. scribe, timekeeper, leader, facilitator). Time for process review. 2. Have the meeting. Record key points and decision on a flip chart or other “public” device. Plan to have one or more members present the findings of your group. 3. Do a process review. Discuss what worked well and could be improved in this meeting. 4. Report out on your group’s outcome (what recommendation or conclusions your group offers) and process (how your group got to that point).
