DESCRIPTION
This course is designed to enhance the skills and strategies of advanced female softball players. Emphasis is
placed on mental, physical, tactical, and technical aspects of the game in order to compete successfully in match
play. May be repeated three times.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
At the completion of the course the student will be able to:
Demonstrate physical, mental, emotional and social growth

Demonstrate the qualities associated with sportsmanship, such as fellowship, tolerance, and spectator

Comprehend the rules and regulations set forth by the Bay Valley Conference and the Amateur Softball
Association
Perform the skills germane to the game of softball such as hitting, running, throwing, and fielding.

Show the ability to perform basic softball functions consistent with the strategies of the game.
