COURSE OBJECTIVES At the completion of the course the student will be able to: 1. Evaluate a concert’s visual presentation. 2. Evaluate a concert’s organization. 3. Demonstrate the ability to facilitate quality musical performances. 4. Assemble and operate a small sound reinforcement system 5. Demonstrate efficient lobby and usher procedures. 6. Create a simple concert organization schedule, detailing equipment load-in, set-up, break-down, and load-out. Critical analysis of performances and presentations. Research, study, and/or performance of noted composers. Concert production project Development of musicianship through simple beginning applied music project. Students will demonstrate their ability to assemble and operate a small sound reinforcement system. 2. Assessment Method Each student will set-up monitors, microphones, and cords for a rehearsal. They will sound check singers and balance the microphones.
