Dear Jim,
Thank you for contributing 35 single scoop coupons to the Strengthening Families Program, which
serves youth from Marquette County.
This program is a big investment in families with kids between the ages of 10 and 14. Parents learn
how to help their kids achieve goals, follow rules, and learn healthy habits. The youth learn to set
goals and work toward them, handle stress and peer pressure. Together, the parents and youth
examine their family values and practice communicating effectively and having fun together. The
families really enjoy the program and they learn a lot, and the program is proven to be effective!
Attached is the brochure for the program happening right now. We offer the program one or two
times per year somewhere in the Marquette County area.
Your contribution helps to reward the youth for attending, participating and working on their
positive habits and goals. They will attend seven sessions, and receive one coupon each time they
attend. The Culver’s of Wautoma is also contributing 35 coupons, so hopefully we’ll have enough
to go around.
