Dear Teachers,
UW-Extension is again offering the free Strengthening Families Program for
parents and youth ages 10 – 14 at North Crawford. This is the second time we
have done it at your school and we are excited!
Please send home the enclosed flyers with students in Grades 5 through 8. If
anyone has any questions, encourage them to call us at 326-0223. Last year
seven North Crawford families participated; we hope to have a similar turnout
this year for this seven week program designed to prevent teen substance
abuse and other behavior problems by improving family relationships, improving
parenting skills, and increasing the youth’s social and life skills. A free family
meal and child care are also provided.
