Fond du Lac County Holstein Association Scholarship The Fond du Lac County Holstein scholarship in the amount of $500 will be given out to a student enrolled in a four-year, one or two year short course or ag related program. All Fond du Lac County Junior Holstein members are encouraged to apply. Students majoring in agricultural degrees are given highest consideration. Eligibility for scholarship 1. Applicant must be a member in good standing at the Fond du Lac County Holstein Association at the time of application. 2. Applicant must be presently enrolled in a four-year college or a one or two year tech school or a short course program in an agriculturalrelated field or be a high school senior admitted into one of the afore mentioned programs. 3. Must not have been a previous recipient of the Fond du Lac County Holstein Association scholarship. Please include the following information in your application 1. Name, address, City, State, Zip, Age and Date of Birth, Name of Parents or Guardian, and contact information 2. Name of high school or college and current program of study, present grade or year in school, expected year of college graduation, GPA and/or class rank 3. List Leadership Roles – Top 10 (Not to exceed 200 words) – 10 Points 4. List Student and organization activities – Top 10 (Not to exceed 200 words) – 15 Points 5. Two written recommendations – 10 Points Answer the following questions in 250 words or less per question, typed on additional sheets of paper. 1. Give a summary of your involvement with the Junior Holstein Association. Please include how it has benefited you and you it. (25 Points) 2. If you could own any registered Holstein cow, which one would it be and why? (10 points) 3. What is your favorite Holstein Association activity and why? (10 Points) 4. What is your future in the U.S. agriculture industry? (10 Points) There will be 10 points given for neatness of application and overall completeness.
