Build good relationship by
1. explaining the importance of audit for the company and for him/herself
2. explaining that auditors position is the same as his/hers, that is just to do a job or an assignment.
Auditors are not policemen, judges, prosecutors, or even their boss
3. explaining that auditors are partners not enemies. Auditors are not trying to find his/her mistakes,
but to help him/her to fix the mistakes/weaknesses
4. offering him/her some other help necessary

During a discussion
1. explain clearly the importance of the topic/problem for the company and its effect on him/her
2. explain clearly that you are not trying to find his/her mistakes/weakness, but to fix any mistakes
/weakness and to prevent from happen again in the future
3. explain clearly what the problem is, and what the actions need to be done
4. listen his/her opinion and reason about the problem discussed
5. if you do not agree with his/her opinion and reason, explain your disagreement tactfully and
support it with solid argument and evidence, then firm/confident with your solid finding.
