Featured demos/displays include: Pit agitation/pumping Robotic pit dredge Transfer technologies Dragline application Tanker application Manure separators/digesters Crop residue remaining after different manure injection/incorporation tools Manure flocculation How different injection tools affect odor. Steps to prevent off-site movement Regulatory displays from WI, IA, MN, MI, IL & IN. Attendance on the 19th is limited to applicators and their employees. More information and a schedule will be coming shortly. August 20: Farmer Day For your customers. Applicators from across WI will demonstrate the best in-use technologies to minimize odor, runoff and neighbor concerns. All demos from day one repeated (except pit pumping/agitation/robotic dredge). PNAAW members can display information about their businesses at no charge. Six meetings around the state have been scheduled by DATCP for later this summer to update nutrient management plan writers on the latest regulatory changes and cost sharing availability for manure storage and nutrient management plans. These are not sponsored by the association, but would be an excellent opportunity to share your thoughts on what you want planners to provide your staff.
